WitchGuide (“the App”) is developed as a tool for spiritual guidance and personal growth. Your privacy is of the utmost importance to us. This policy describes how we handle data within the App.
1. Data Storage (Your Grimoire and Readings)
The App is designed as a “Local First” application.
- Personal Data: Any information you enter into the Grimoire, your Tarot/Rune readings, and your journal entries is stored locally on your device in a secure SQLite database.
- No Cloud Storage: We do not have access to your personal notes, rituals, or photos. We do not store this data on our servers.
- Media: Photos added to your Grimoire remain on your device and are not uploaded to any external server by us.
The App uses third-party services that may collect information used to identify you:
- Google Play Services: For app updates and core functionality.
- AdMob (Google Mobile Ads): To show advertisements. AdMob may collect your IP address and Advertising ID to provide relevant ads and analyze ad performance.
- In-App Purchases: All financial transactions for “Deluxe” features are handled securely by the Google Play Billing system. We do not see or store your credit card information.
3. Permissions
The App may request the following permissions:
- Storage/Media: To allow you to add photos to your Grimoire.
- Internet: To show ads and process in-app purchases.
- Notifications: To send moon phase and planetary hour alerts (if enabled by you).
4. Data Security
Because your most sensitive data (rituals and readings) is stored locally on your phone, its security depends on your device’s security. We recommend using the App’s built-in PIN lock feature for additional privacy.
5. Data Deletion
Since your data is stored locally, you can delete it at any time by:
- Deleting individual entries within the App.
- Clearing the App’s data in your device settings.
- Uninstalling the App.
6. Changes to This Policy
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We advise you to review this page periodically for any changes.

WitchGuide (“de App”) is ontwikkeld als een hulpmiddel voor spirituele begeleiding en persoonlijke groei. Uw privacy is voor ons van het grootste belang. Dit beleid beschrijft hoe we omgaan met gegevens binnen de App.
1. Gegevensopslag (Uw Grimoire en Leggingen)
De App is ontworpen als een “Local First” applicatie.
- Persoonlijke Gegevens: Alle informatie die u invoert in de Grimoire, uw Tarot- en Runen-leggingen, en uw dagboekaantekeningen wordt lokaal op uw apparaat opgeslagen in een beveiligde SQLite-database.
- Geen Cloud-opslag: Wij hebben geen toegang tot uw persoonlijke aantekeningen, rituelen of foto’s. Wij slaan deze gegevens niet op onze servers op.
- Media: Foto’s die aan uw Grimoire worden toegevoegd, blijven op uw apparaat staan en worden door ons niet naar een externe server geüpload.
De App maakt gebruik van diensten van derden die informatie kunnen verzamelen om u te identificeren:
- Google Play Services: Voor app-updates en kernfunctionaliteit.
- AdMob (Google Mobile Ads): Om advertenties te tonen. AdMob kan uw IP-adres en Advertentie-ID verzamelen om relevante advertenties aan te bieden en advertentieprestaties te analyseren.
- In-app Aankopen: Alle financiële transacties voor “Deluxe” functies worden veilig afgehandeld door het Google Play Billing-systeem. Wij zien of bewaren uw creditcard- of betaalinformatie niet.
3. Machtigingen
De App kan om de volgende machtigingen vragen:
- Opslag/Media: Om u toe te staan foto’s toe te voegen aan uw Grimoire.
- Internet: Om advertenties te tonen en in-app aankopen te verwerken.
- Meldingen: Om meldingen te sturen over maanfasen en planetaire uren (indien door u ingeschakeld).
4. Gegevensbeveiliging
Omdat uw meest gevoelige gegevens (rituelen en leggingen) lokaal op uw telefoon worden opgeslagen, hangt de beveiliging ervan af van de beveiliging van uw apparaat. Wij raden aan de ingebouwde pincode-vergrendeling van de App te gebruiken voor extra privacy.
5. Gegevens Verwijderen
Aangezien uw gegevens lokaal worden opgeslagen, kunt u deze op elk gewenst moment verwijderen door:
- Afzonderlijke items binnen de App te wissen.
- De gegevens van de App te wissen in uw apparaatinstellingen.
- De App te deïnstalleren.
6. Wijzigingen in dit Beleid
We kunnen ons Privacybeleid van tijd tot tijd bijwerken. Wij raden u aan deze pagina regelmatig te controleren op wijzigingen.
